The Aquatap is designed for easy installation. The heater unit is floor standing and with no brackets required, it's a simple "plug and play" tap connection.
Maintenance costs are kept to a minimum through smart design and common sense. An integral scale inhibitor reduces the rate of scale deposition in hard water areas, and the option to choose a filter system means that in areas where water is considered of good standard, no filter is required.
Intelliboil™Plus is a patented hot water management system that controls the boiling cycle for improved efficiency. It regularly brings the water to boil in response to usage, but if no water is drawn off for over an hour it reduces the maximum stored water temperature from 100ºC to 90ºC. This saves electricity until the Aquatap is used again - perhaps the next day or after a weekend - at which time the normal boiling cycle automatically resumes.
Please note the drip tray is available seperately and does not come supplied with the unit.
