By measuring the heat up and coo down rates of the room and this varies with exteral factors, the heater works out the time it should start heating to reach the usr-defined target temperature. All this minimises wasted energy and can deliver saving costs. 

If a window or door has been left open the heater will detect a sudden change in the temperature and postpone heating. Once closed the heater will resume to normal operations. This technology ensures that the output from the heater is reduced when heat it escaping from a room, this avoids wastage and saves money.
